Leather - can you sew that too?
July 12, 2024Yesterday was a historic day for 'bags of memories' - a new sewing machine purchase! Now I can also sew leather - and I love leather! The bottle holder is practical but also stylish. My new sewing machine loved it too!
I made the other leather bag for the semi-finals of the European football - torn between England and the Netherlands, I went Dutch. This was the last sewing project with my old machine - he couldn't handle my new leather collection! Incidentally the leather from these projects came from obsoleet leather furniture samples (free from online Market place - recycling at it's best). The bags have interchangeable straps - mix and match to every outfit (Dutch or not).
